The doors wont lock if the keys are not in the car and its running i dont think, and i know for a fact it will drive without the key if its already running, but once its shut off it cant be restarted.

Interesting. I was sure mine does not lock and just confirmed. My 2016 PP was turned off in the garage with the start/stop button two days ago and I can turn the steering wheel freely with the fob well out of range. The steering column should've locked as well, regardless of locking the exterior doors. When you shut the car off with the Start/Stop button after a short time the steering column lock will engage. No need for a club.
Odd - it's referenced in the 2016 owners manual on page 96Interesting. I was sure mine does not lock and just confirmed. My 2016 PP was turned off in the garage with the start/stop button two days ago and I can turn the steering wheel freely with the fob well out of range.
Maybe Ford dropped the lock to save money in 2016. Your sig says yellow 2015 PP so can't be an auto/manual trans thing because there were no yellow automatic PP cars in 2015.
I believe you need the “enhanced security package” equipped.Interesting. I was sure mine does not lock and just confirmed. My 2016 PP was turned off in the garage with the start/stop button two days ago and I can turn the steering wheel freely with the fob well out of range.

That page doesn't actually say all Mustangs have it, just that ones that do can display faults. In my 2016 manual, the steering wheel lock is described as "(if equipped)" My 2016 PP ordered with every option but security and Recaros is NOT equipped with a steering wheel lock. Maybe the security package adds it, and I am pretty sure all auto trans cars have it. I have no idea why your 2015 manual trans car has it.Odd - it's referenced in the 2016 owners manual on page 96

Na. I've had my body inside the car working on it, try and start it, but it won't start because my pocket is just outside the door. Like, around the door jamb.I don’t think the fob can start the car unless it’s within 2-3 feet of it. Mine starts flipping out saying “no key” if I leave it running and step outside the cabin just to grab something from the trunk. Did the OP leave his car running and unattended? That’s the only thing that makes sense here.
So, rather, not so much “na” then “ya”. ;)Na. I've had my body inside the car working on it, try and start it, but it won't start because my pocket is just outside the door. Like, around the door jamb.
