I've removed my H-pipe and refitted the suitcase piece of crap thing ready to sell my '19 GT. However, using straight butt-joint type clamps i've been struggling to keep the back boxes from rotating to the left after a few miles and looking very sad!! Seems no matter how tight i clamp the joint from the suitcase to the back box sections they still rotate. Off to see a mate with a welder later to tack the pipes together before clamping them to hopefully stop the rotation but wondered about risk of welding and damage to ECU etc. Is this an issue/risk? was thinking of disconnecting/removing the exhaust to weld then reconnect just to be safe but would rather not.
