I bought some Weld 17x10 Laguna Beadlocks recently with the intention of running the MT ET Steer R's, but this is my first time buying beadlocks and what should I be getting as far as a valve stem? I was wondering if a TPS will fit, I was also wondering if I needed metal valve stems to meet tech requirements. I believe I read if the car is equipped with TPS sensors then you didn't have to run metal valve stems. Just trying to get all of this figured out and see what everyone else was doing with a similar wheel and tire setup.

Thanks!

Congratulations in the new wheels. Let’s see some pictures.

I will try to answer this assuming you are drag racing.

NHRA Rules states…

Metal, screw-in valve stems mandatory in tubeless tires, front and rear, on vehicles running 11.99 or quicker; unless OEM tire pressure monitor sensor is used.

Metal is what you should use. I got them on my front wheels but didn’t get them on the rears. I didn’t check to make the I got the right ones on the rears because I got them later.

I will change mine to the metal type with the sensors in them when I get the rear tires replaced.

And that should work on both front and back?

I only have the rears right now, but I dropped them off with my powder coater for a personal touch.

Yeah, everything will be fine with the metal valve stems with the TPMS sensors on the front and back. I will be doing the rears as well.

Also, you can go to the local Ford dealer for these.

We do expect pics with the new pack on when everything is done or your post is fake! 🫣😂

I’ll have to do one for the whole car. I’ve been getting a lot of stuff done.

Did you get them installed yet? What does it look like? Did you end up using those ford perf metal valve stems? Just got the same wheels and want to run these maybe.

What are you talking about dude.. we are talking about metal bolt on style TPMS sensors not standard metal bolt on Valve stems? We all Know you need the metal style Either way for drag racing at tracks.. lol. The ones you’re talking about are like $10 lol. Metal TPMS Sensors are $50-$100 Each.

Dude... Read my post ... "You can also purchase Metal TPMS from Discount Tire/American Tire ", that's what I'm talking about Metal TMPS , I copied the rule book and with or without TMPS are mentioned, I know the discussion pertained to Metal TPMS. Thank you for the clarification.

I got rushed to mount them so get the car on the ground so I just threw in regular valve stems to get things moving.

Yes just the push in’s for the moment. Wanted to read and dig a little more before purchasing.
