Hey all,

I have a 2019 Mustang GT 6 speed that is roush supercharged. The car is generally great but when I try launch control the car is unable to maintain the selected rpm and it keeps trying until it backs out. Any idea what is causing this?

I have the same issue. ROUSH is looking into solving the problem. They also have a car in their possession that is doing the same thing. Their technician is still work on a solution for a fix. They will contact my service tech when they have resolved the issue. Fingers crossed 🤞

Awesome man! PLEASE let me know if they find the issue! I had a guy on a FB group tell me his car was doing the same thing and he swapped the throttle body and it fixed it.

I’ll pass the info to ROUSH
LMR is selling the 87mm TB for these kits for $166. I picked one up and will let you know if it fixes the issue.

ROUSH replied back to the info you mentioned and they said the calibration ruled out the throttle body and that it’s a calibration issue and their cal team is trying to resolve the issue but, I’m still curious on your result because your video shows exactly what mine is doing.

Are you buying the same size of throttle body as what comes with the ROUSH supercharger?

Yeah same part number. It arrives on Sunday and I'll thrown it on and let you know the results. Do you also have warm start issues? When my car is warm, on start it almost stalls and once it did stall.

Yes after driving for a bit then turn off the car to gas up or to go shopping. Once I restart the car it’s like if it’s flooded and take 2/3 seconds to pickup idle. If like it’s bogging out. During that time it has stalled a couple of times instead of picking up to normal idle.

Watching the video yours actually starts then almost stalled. Mine is more like their to much fuel to catch. Mine barely starts as it tries to pickup the rpm’s

Same with mine, it really has trouble starting after the engine is warmed up. I would say we are suffering from the same issue. I’m scheduled in October to get the calibration updated but I’d wager your fix will also be my fix.

I’ve already done all the latest updates. Can’t wait till they finally fix this issue. Once they let me know they have the fix, I’ll let you know. Let me know if your new throttle body does anything!

The TB arrived and it was the wrong part number. I had to return it and this time I ordered from Tasca. So I'll update you when that arrives and the TB is replaced.

Do you have issues when you do hard acceleration that it feels like it’s missing at 3500-4500 or slight pause as an automatic would do when shifting between gears?

The throttle bodies are very temperamental. I had an Edelbrock and the TB failed.
