I posted a thread a while back but got no answers so I'm going to try again

My oil level is perfect the noise happens at idle or as I'm decelerating from about 35mph and tends to happen when coming down from 3000rpm

So 2 days ago I got to drive my car for the first time in the rain.. like a proper downpour

Went to get on the highway and after I straightened the car I gave it about half throttle in track mode with advancetrac off and the car just completely spun out and sent me into the ditch. I was barely going over 25mph so the car sustained no damage except to my ego

Oddly enough that rattle noise is now gone so whatever was loose was adjusted by sliding in the dirt

Half throttle in a downpour with all nannies turned off. Interesting. Glad the noise is gone and the car unscathed.

Yeah I was messing around in a straight line on the back roads and forgot to put them back on

I like to push my cars to their limits to see where they are, gives me a better feel for where I sit in the car if that makes sense

The only casualty from the spin out was 2 large pibb Xtra sodas from checkers dumping on my lap

Yep, car behaves a lot different in rain than my sub 200hp fwd cars I've had all my life.

I got too comfortable with the car on dry roads, I didn't really expect the rain to make that much of a difference especially with 2 brand new rear tires

Happened to most of us, especially when you move from decently powered FWD/AWD cars to very powerful RWD cars.

I went very close to crashing it when new because, in your own words, I got too comfortable with it. I didn't do the extreme to having Race Mode enabled in the rain so I was able to regain control, but still she taught me a lesson that day...
