Hello,
I have been having this issue for a few months now, and wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing.
Whenever I start my car up after a while and start to brake (usually at the first stop sign in my neighborhood), the pedal/brakes have this weird behavior where there's a second "step" in the pedal before I'm getting proper brake response. If I'm braking at the normal pedal depression, I will need to push it down another half inch or, and then I can feel what seems to be the calipers engaging properly. It doesn't click, but that's the closest thing I can describe the behavior as. It only does this once, and then the braking will be normal the rest of the drive. It will only do it again if I go a few hours without driving the car.
It's a 2018 GT non-PP, stock brakes. 33k miles on it. No active recalls for my VIN.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I barely know how to describe the issue, let alone search for it.
Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.
