Nice to see a fellow Oahu resident post up here. You’re gonna love the new car. I did the order like you through my dealer Cutter Ford back in 10/2018 and had mine delivered 05/27/2019. Took a while with the parts supply problem.....steering wheel shortage. I don’t think you’ll be having problems as that situation has been remedied. The thrill is getting exactly what you want and not getting a car that’s been sitting on a dealers lot with all the yahoos test driving it etc. if you didn’t already, try getting X plan pricing through MCA. You’ll save a few bucks off MSRP. Just getting that green window sticker is the coolest thing. Ours was a late anniversary present for me and wifey. She loves the heated and cooled seats and trust me, this summer that option was worth every penny. We now have his and hers beasts. I’m keeping my 2014 GT though.....
Aloha!!! We are also going through Cutter and are doing the X-plan option. I read about the dreaded steering wheel problem last year and so far, our build has been going smooth. We are super excited to be getting the exact Mustang that we want, and happy with Cutter so far with how they have been so good with us.

Your Mustang is beautiful!! Love the red seats!!

I’ve been keeping track of our build on the Ford site and also a site that’s in a different language. The non Ford one actually puts the stages...so far it’s gone through the “body shop” and now at the “trim line” what ever that means lol. We will be adding side scoops and the CS spoiler once the vehicle gets here.

Did you see the post about framing your sticker? I did mine and it is really cool.

I’ve got the side scoops on order at the dealer since I bought the car and have a receipt for it. Gotta pay them a visit to see what happened
To them. Kona Blue to me should be a standard color each year. Almost went with that but my first Mustang was a 1991 LX 5.0 Oxford White with the Scarlett Red aka as Porno Red interior. Had that car for 23 years and got into the Coyote thing. This one is kind of an homage to my first car. What’s interesting is from those old cars each generation saw improvements that were aftermarket accessories. What we have today is what owners have been clamoring for for many years. Wifey told me to leave this one alone and not modify it but let’s see how long that lasts.

You’re gonna love it, trust me.

I really hope Ford got their shipping in order.

Our ordered 2019 (ordered in May 2019) still hasn't shipped and it went to "awaiting shipment" with an estimated delivery date of 7/15. It's still stuck in awaiting shipment.

It got to the point that we had the dealer bring in another car from 200 miles away as we were ready to just walk away. The new car we are buying does have magneride which we didn't want to pay for but in the grand scheme of things, an extra $1000 is no big deal.

That’s exactly what I’m worried about....everything has gone super smooth, it’s almost scary. I’m knocking on wood that it stays smooth!

Updating to let everyone know we have a new date! Went from 11/20, to 11/18, to 11/21, back to 11/18 and NOW it’s 10/22 :rockon: A ton sooner than expected! We started this journey on 7/17 when we placed the order, knowing that it wouldn’t be built for some time. We figured around Christmas time we would see our new Mustang. But here we are, two weeks away!!:like:

How many times a day do you check the status for a new date? My date is now 10/14 and I have been good and only checked 4 or 5 times today

I think you broke the system. If you keep this up the car will be in your driveway in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...............
Seriously do not take those dates too seriously yet. Better to be surprised than disappointed.

Totally agree....life of a military wife, dates forever changing in life!! Once the Mustang gets on the boat, it could sink. You just never know! (Frantically knocking on wood!!)
