The ex-wife would get lots of waves from Mustangs when driving around in the 2000. Me driving? Nothing. Even when I initiated. So I gave up waving.
In the 2012, I got tons of attention. Everybody seemed to love that body style. No waves from Mustangs, but it wasn't uncommon to end up driving in formation with other 'Stangs on the highway, or parking together in the parking lot. (I got flyers and cards inviting me to join Mustang clubs too
Looking forward to seeing how people react to my 2015. I didn't realize there were bad feelings on other 'boards -- since looking at the 2015 I've only been on mustang6g.com

the mustang never really interested me until i heard about the 15 last summer, so this is the only mustang forum i'm active in.

Encountered a fellow s550 owner on the interstate the other day. They had out of state plates, or I would've follow them lol. Anyway, they guy saw me come up behind him and gave me a nice wave that was visible thru the back glass. Put a nice grin on my face. I sped up a tad to reciprocate and show him my exhaust note.

I think part of the reason Mustang drivers, at least in my area, don't wave is that there are just SO many on the road. I swear, 1 in 10 cars on the road in Orange Co are new edge Stang's or early S197. Our hands would be up the whole drive.

rode past a ruby red with satin black stripes today, was starting to get dark so at the time when it came over a hill i thought it was an 09 charger that i see all the time, when we got closer i realized what it was and saw the dude givin the thumbs up so i returned it lol.

I've had five mustangs in my lifetime and my 15 catches so much shade from other mustang owners. I don't get it. I find this car gets more attention and compliments from non mustang drivers especially Camaro and Challenger drivers. I don't really care though - any other stang owner who doesn't like this car has clearly never been behind the wheel of a S550, they don't know what they are missing.
