Interesting, I'm going through a similar exercise albeit for carport 8mx12m. Can I ask what finish you decided on and cost/m2?

After looking at a few options, I went with Swisstrax Ribtrax.

The floor of my garage has been painted a few times over the years. I never lasts and I would have preferred it to never have been painted in the first place. What I have now is a patchy and flaking garage floor. That pic was taken late last year, it's even worse now.

With so much in this space, I just did not want to go down the process of having the paint removed and re-coated or Epoxied.

The Ribtrax tiles allow me to cover up the sins of the past, moving stuff as I go. For such a big space, the cost is substantial, however I spend a lot of time in the garage for both work and pleasure so I feel the price is worth it. The groves in each tile allow dirt to fall below, keeping the floor cleaner for longer. Water can also drain to through so I don't have to work in puddles after washing a car. Cleaning is as simple as vacuuming, which I already do to keep the dust down.

Should look similar to this -

Thanks everyone for the advice. I knew I would get some constructive advice from those that have found the best products. I now have a fair shopping list of things to try.

When I got my Ruby Red I was a little disappointed in the colour, which is why I went looking for something to enhance it. It was just a little bit flat. Now, I can't wait to see the true Ruby Red in the sun after it has been cleaned and treated as it should be.
Do you have machine polisher?

Ha ha!! I can do that on my own! :cwl:

Ordered and payed a deposit on a new floor for my garage last week, that should help send me broke just before Christmas. 🤪

I did that when I got my LOTUS 51 they look great and being able to plan the pattern is great. But tbh the white can be a pain to keep clean 😂.

I am extremely jealous of the size of your garage.

It was originally supposed to be a two car garage, but those ideas were short lived. :giggle:

The additional width was created by running the roof up to the fence. The front portion was planned to be an outdoor kitchen, that space now houses two cars and my detailing area. With the plumbing all there for a kitchen, getting a fully functioning sink hooked up was easy, so easy I wish I had it installed earlier!

Fixing the floor and a couple of other changes will be have me pretty happy. That garage is my sanctuary.

Just spotted this Ruby Red in another thread courtesy of @Stangluvr showing what it can look like.

There are actually a few different versions of Ruby Red, one that was used for the American market cars and one for the Euro Fords. The Euro version has more cherry in it vs the US versions gold highlight. It's almost like the difference between Seduce and Emperor on the Australian Falcon's.

Looks like Dream Maker still available from Autobuff and Carcareco
I just want you to know this post just cost me $160.00!!! 🤪 :cwl:
My order from Autobuff arrived today.

So I went shopping for a $27.00 bottle of quick detailer and ended up with a $160 bill.

The Rag Company launched a pink version of their FTW Drying Towel to coincide with the release of Dream Maker. How could I say no that! :giggle:

The Pearl applicators always come in handy.

And Rags to Riches is one of the best microfibre detergents available. I have only just started to use this and have been impressed with how it has revived some really manky old towels.

So is the US version of Ruby Red more along the lines of the current Rapid Red here? Looking at Rapid Red it just seems to have that slight gold tone compared with the Ruby Red.
