I think I posted this wrong section lol. I’m more into drag racing . Not so much handling or trying to stop on a dime. Just looking for some weight reduction. If it slows me down from 1/4 mile pass I’m good.
Just the wording in your headline would have made the difference.

I ran the numbers on Steeda's wheel weight vid. There is not a shot in hell that they're 'gaining' the power that video suggests. The effective power gain is well below the noise floor of their dyno.
I think the weight is not so much the factor in this 6 hp gain but moving from 275/40/19 to 305/30/18 tires that is making the difference. 27" to 25.2" so shorter diff allowing the car to rev faster and add 6 hp. so it's not apples to apples comparison in the video.

The smaller tire height will actually dyno smidge lower. That’s why you dyno in 1:1 gear.
