Default Warm shifter on manual 2017 GT?
Hello all,
I'm new here, recently purchased a 2017 Mustang GT in a 6 speed manual. The car is still completely stock and has a little over 700 miles.
I've been noticing recently regardless of the AC is running or the tempeture inside/outside the car that the area around the shift stick inside the car is getting warm to the touch. This includes the boot around the stick, and all the plastic in that area (from the center console back to the cup holders and all the way down to the floor basically).
After doing some research I couldn't find anything solid on this for the S550 models but did find this old post for the S197s on another forum that this was a common issue.
Does anyone know if this is a common issue with the S550s or should I be calling my dealer to have this looked into?
Thanks!
