So, I've only had the Mustang for 11 days, but this issue is getting real old, real fast.
I have the Sync 3.3 19052 Build (most up to date so far as I can tell) and connect both my phone and my Sony Walkman (NW-A45) via the USB ports. The phone is for Android Auto and listening to podcasts and using some of the mapping features. The Walkman is for listening to digital music (MP3s and such).
I normally listen to the Walkman at the end and beginning of any drive (unless Iām going out for some spirited driving in which case I turn the audio off and listen to that sweet sweet exhaust symphony). So when I turn on the car, the Walkman starts up where it left off. Perfect. Except 5 to 10 seconds later it ādisconnectsā. The screen flashes that itās disconnected and then immediately changes and says that the Walkman has been plugged in. By the time I get to the audio source option, itās available and I can start listening to it again.
Now, if the car is off for a short while (Iāve tested this with 5, 10, and 20-minute stops) this doesnāt happen. The Walkman starts playing and all is good with the world.
I havenāt tried any other media devices, but was wondering if anybody knew what was going on or has experienced (is experiencing) a similar problem of start up disconnects.
