Does anyone have a production date in September or October that has not received the Track Pack GT350 yet?

I'm only engaging in this because I saw your 'Happy Thanksgiving' post yesterday and I respect/appreciate it. (I.e., I am confident that this will not become a bitch fest).

Yes, my 2016 Track Pack was built 10/6 or 10/7 and has not yet cleared for shipping. This is what both my dealer and FP have told me. No ETA.

It just occurred to me that you guys with cars built at about the same time that haven't shipped all have Track Packages. Are there any Tech Packages or Base Models in the same circumstance?

I'm not aware of anyone with a base or tech pack having a wait. But I did notice when I went to flat rock that the first two rows were mostly base models without the rear spoiler. I'm thinking the wait might be for the track pack and R. Maybe coolers?
Although my insider at flat rock said again today that 200 shelbys are still on hold for the seat belt inspections, but when I asked him yesterday if it had anything to do with the track vs tech he didn't know. He said ford is being quiet about the seat belt for what ever reason. But he also said their are no engine related problems or oil related issues.

There is a track package that was delivered to a dealer (Ricart) in Columbus, OH. I also know there's been a guy or two on here that has taken delivery of a track package equipped car. No idea what those build dates were though.

I'm an idiot (and currently hungover) - My build date was NOVEMBER 7th, no October. Sorry guys.

I ordered in mid-September (early than I wanted, but I didn't want to miss out on an MSRP allocation made available to me when the original buyer had to back out the same day I emailed a random dealer).

It's interesting that Ford's official release on the Mustang seat belt recall doesn't include your cars, at least from a time perspective. The problem may have been larger - and extended further into the production run - than Ford first thought.

Ford issues safety compliance recall for certain 2016 Ford Mustang vehicles in North America after restraint parts could have been damaged during shipping
Ford is issuing a safety compliance recall for approximately 1,900 2016 Ford Mustang vehicles in North America after some restraint parts could have been damaged during shipping from the supplier prior to installation in the vehicle. If damaged during shipping, the affected restraint parts might not conform to the requirements of FMVSS 209 for seat belt assembly performance or to FMVSS 225 regarding child restraint anchor systems.

Ford is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to this issue.

Affected vehicles include certain 2016 Ford Mustang vehicles built at Flat Rock Assembly Plant, Sept. 26, 2015 through Oct. 1, 2015.

There are a total of 1,906 vehicles that might be affected in North America, including 1,900 in the United States and federalized territories, one in Canada and five in Mexico.

Dealers will replace front and rear seat belt assemblies, rear seat buckle assemblies and child tethers at no cost to the customer.

And see yet again. I promised I would bite my tongue. And I'm going to do so. But a honest answer would be nice from someone.

Have you seen any written or posted engine or any other issues?

Safety recall announcements are compulsory. Very different than "oh hey, we're having problems with performance widget X".

I understand. Just curious. Not sure of my build date is effected by the seat belt or not. I'm sticking with my flat rock insider

I'm surprised you have any tongue left, but I felt the same way when my VIN was "lost" for a couple of weeks and then all of a sudden appeared way out of sequence. :headbonk:

Here's another way to go at Ford. The recall is expected to begin on December 14, 2015, but owners may contact Ford customer service now at 1-866-436-7332 any time with this Recall No.: 15C13. They may tell you the VIN doesn't exist or that this recall doesn't apply to your car, but at least it's something else to try.

Tech here. 10/13 build.

Dealer hasn't been able to tell me anything, but Deysha told me that it was released for shipping on 11/17.
