Anybody run 100 octane in their GT350? Manual says 93 octane or better. If you are, any noticeable difference in the car?........

Supposedly it will adjust timing for the higher octane without an aftermarket tune. One guy had dynos for it, but has been banned like 3 times. I'm sure others have info for you.

From my own personal experience, e85(105 octane) with a lund tune makes this a completely different car.

I have run 100 octane in my GT350 and you can definitely tell the difference between 100 octane and the standard 91 octane that we have here in Arizona. The car just feels a lot stronger. I don’t have any dyno data to back it up but with 100 octane when you get on it you can really feel the power difference. I would be curious to see how much HP difference it really is between 91 and 100 octane.

It is too bad 100 octane is so expensive otherwise I would run it all the time. As a happy medium I run a mixture of 100 and 91 which gives me an octane of 94. This 94 mixture still makes the car feel stronger then when I am running 91, but much easier on the wallet.

Yea, VP MS100 is like $65.00 for 5 gallons last time I purchased it. Ridiculous! I have 20 gallons of it left over from my 03 Cobra I use to run it in. Figured I would go a head and use it up.....

I bet that a small shot of water/meth could accomplish the same knock prevention and timing advance as the 100 octane. Race gas and e85 pumps pretty much don't exist in my area. Itd be cool to see a shop perform an octane/additive shootout, making pulls with 91, 93, 93+w/m, 93+boostane, and 100.

I've run 100 octane on the track before and it definitely makes a noticeable difference. Kind of hard to justify $9.99 a gallon but it's fun to try out every once in a while. And that's without a tune. Just a full tank of 100.

I wish we had it on pump around my neck of the woods. I would probably run it quite often. Cheaper than buying it in the 5 gallon pails.......

Dang. I’d love to try it out. I can’t find 100 no where around me. Checked Sunoco. What else can you search for?

Check out Rocket Brand Fuels. Our supplier for the farm handles this in 55 gallon drums & delivered a couple awhile back. Just haven't got around to getting a pump set up for blending yet. We purchased the 112 octane to blend with 93. Cost was $8.00/gallon. Their website has a dealer locator with looks as tho you have to call. rocketbrand.com
