It looks fantastic, Ric. Hope it looks that good on Royal Crimson.

I'm sure it will Bob... But I would suggest an experienced installer... lol I hear he works for lunch and Beers!!

Interesting that the S197 engine cover worked for you. Details?

I tried one with no luck (Roush CAI), the front wouldn't fit around the intake tube, no way no how.

Curious...did it just not sit down all the way because of the MRC tube?? That was the only issue I had up front!
1st off..yes they do fit. The attatchment pins to the intake are exact, I relieved the drivers rear corner a bit for clearance back there. I have a Steed CAI as you see and it sits on it when all the way installed!! The issue I had was the MRC tube running along the drivers side intake was impeding the fit. I relocated it as per the pics....my sound tube was already deleted, I moved the MRC tube to the bottom input on the Steeda tube, relocated the coil cover tube to the sound tube deleted input and I blocked off the original input hole for the MRC tube at the top of the Steeda intake tube. The MRC was discontinued by Ford in 2017, initially the thought it was an emissions thing...but no it wasn’t !! Top pic is how it’s supposed to be hooked up...bottom pic was my mod to make it work and sit down where it should!!!
