Voltage Readings

S550 - Traditional Tachometer / Speedometer with Digital OEM Gauge reports Voltage at 11.7V, however, the dash camera installed reports Voltage at 12.5V which causes it to function during ignition off. Dash cam goes into parking mode. My goal is to get the dash cam to power off below 12V.

Dashcam is tapped into fuse #3 for constant and #23 for accessory power.

Who is accurate? Is the dash cam voltage correct or is the car's built in voltage readings correct?

Check out my last post on this thread, move your tap from fuse 23 for accessory to the brown/yellow wire and you’ll be good to go.

I’ve got my dash cam and radar hooked up to it and it works perfect
