Pssssst.... Hey.... FORD..

Tune these cars like LUND and some others are tuning. Make them feel like they make 435 or more horse power and people will not have to roll that dice.

I always read "what the manufacturer left on the table"..

Why are they leaving anything anywhere???
There would be some very sad vendors if they did that :lol:
Actually for a guy like me what your saying would work perfectly but for someone who is more passionate about their car it would kind of kill some of the fun. Heck even most people who buy Corvette's, Camaro's, GT350's or even Challengers like to add something to make their car unique.

They have to account for every climate, people that run crappy gas, people that fire the car up and beat the hell out of it before its warmed up, they basically have to try and tune it to account for people that are car retarded and don't know how to properly operate and maintain a performance car.

I agree it sucks, but they have to protect themselves or else they will lose their ass on warranty claims when people start grenading engines.
