VIN

My Mustang will be the only car I've ever had where I know the VIN from memory.

A result of typing the sodding thing into ETIS every other day :doh: :lol:

That's odd? I thought that the only way they can check build dates on Vista is with a VIN?

Mine was supposed to be built 11th Nov. Now it's unknown - though Jan seems to be the 'plan'.

I await further disappointment accordingly.

I thought the same, I haven't personally checked.

Karen and my dealer both checked the build date (11th nov - delayed) and are now telling me early Jan.

You literally seem like you're in the exact same boat as me (and we could literally have our cars on the same boat at this rate!)

I think it's a result of the build blocks that they schedule at Flat Rock.

Dealer should have your VIN on Vista though? I got mine a few weeks ago (after yet another round of chasing/moaning)

Indeed, Brothers in frustration, Should hopefully pickup at the same time then! When i'd gone to look at the Bham Bristol Street Mustangs they had, i'd met a bloke who'd ordered aGT in May, Estimated Build of Jan 4th and delivery in March, so could have another brother in frustration there!

I'm sticking with contacting with Karen, my dealers impossible to get a hold of and quite frankly, CBA with going through all the Chains when he's just going to ask Karen usually :lol:

or if you are a convertible, use 1FATP8 instead; they have a different airbag configuration that changes the VIN....

Sounds pretty quick compared to most!! I ordered in March and have been told by the dealer that it won't be BUILT until March 2016. Of course, why I should believe him when he's known nothing up to now............. I've asked Karen but no reply; I guess I'm way down the queue compared to the guys getting their cars for Christmas.
