I managed to get an invite to the dealers release night at bayford and saw two variants

Canary yellow and the roush upgrade which were both on loan from mustang motorsport . Thing is they we're both originally left hand drives ( sadly as ford couldn't build any RHD for their showrooms !) so while profile looked great I wasn't sure how close to specification they were as they were originally made for the USA market - and subsequently modified.

Looking at your pictures the guard gap doesn't seem as high which is Good news

As for my list of mods - trying to keep myself occupied while I don't have a car to drive .... I know I think the smartest thing to do is hold off on any purchases until I have the car
(Although I think I'll get the supercharger installed from the dealer so I can find it under lease hahaha)

Just got an email from my dealer - MY CAR HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!!:cheers:

I'm overseas at the moment and won't be back for another week so haven't seen it the flesh but at least its here (there).

Here are the pics from the dealer - apologies the quality's not great and I will post more when I finally pick it up.

Can't believe I'll be finally driving it a little over a week

Now - on to the mods..... (just waiting on a quote for all of it from Lethal Performance)

Looking for a Dealer

Hi Guys,

Though I was around for a while, this is my first post so be gentle ;)

First, congratulations to those who are getting their cars, I’m sure it’s been a long wait! I’ve been waiting with my order since 2014 as back then Ford knew almost nothing as to what we were getting.
Now that Sync3 is likely to be included with new orders, I am ready to lock it in and start my own long, long, long, wait…

Does anyone have any recommendations on a dealer in Melbourne area?
Looking at the threads I noticed price can vary, and I’m sure that so does the attitude and service (You want a communicative dealer when you are waiting for more than a year).
I’m not sure about the color yet, but it will be a manual V8!

I think its safe to say we have a larger list of who you shouldn't go to, there has been no mention of sync3 yet for our mustang so that isn't something that you should bank on.

You should probably call around and see who will give you the best price because the service will probably be to a similar horrible standard.

From a conversation I had with a couple of dealers (No promises though), the fact it is already rolling out in the US and that what you order now will be arriving in 2017...

I do plan to have a waver in my contract to allow me to cancel the order in case the "likely" gets an "Un" ahead of it

Lucky I didn't also say we're getting the US bonnet and tri bar DRL as standard for 2016 builds. Oops...

I'll be sure to mention to any random asking me "wow you have the tri bars?", I'll be like... "yeah, why? Came with the car"
