Did you have track time on your rubber? 10K miles is amazing for SC2's. I drove mine and at 6700 cord was showing. They did have three track days on them though.
Just some parade laps.. everything else was highway and backroads. 6700 sounds pretty good with 3 track days. Right now I can see the cords are going to start showing soon - but I'm just waiting to swap them out as close to June as possible so I don't put extra unnecessary miles on them before mid ohio

Yes but your wheels are close to 5k.
They are much more afford than your expectations. It would be no-brainer for me just to invest about 50% more for the fully customizable forged wheels compare to these not fully forged wheels.

Cord inboard or outboard of the tire?

I just found some pictures and the lugs stick out on the back. I am passing on these wheels and staying with OEM.

They're super deep concave. That's the only way they're able to fit around the rear brakes and should clear the caliper by about 2mm. Forgestars are good wheels. I've seen them get the fvck beat out of them. I've also seen $3000 CCW's break right in front of my eyes. Any wheel is a wear part forged or not. Just be mindful. Frankly...you're going to be more than fine whether it's Forgestar, Forgeline, OEM, Vossen...whatever.
These are basically Forgestar CF10 wheels with a couple minor details to make them a little different. Both front and back of these are just regular "deep concave", as what Forgestar refers to. The super deep is noticeably different, plus they don't offer the CF10 in super deep as far as I know.

I actually saw a post on Facebook a while back from a guy with these wheels with 305/30 Cup 2's and here's some pictures of them....

Outboard. Factory alignment... outside wore a lot heavier. I’m hoping Performance Alignment (awesome chassis shop in Cincinnati) can dial some of that out and still have me ok for Mid Ohio.

I initially started searching for street wheels and quickly got over it. If I do something bad enough to really jack up the rim I have insurance and the price has come down - if I curb them - that's on me for being careless. That said -- I've been told by no fewer than 4 shops, including 3 Ford dealers, that they did not want to provide any guarantee with regard to not damaging the wheel during a tire change. 2 of them flat out told me they would rather me not bring it in for a tire swap. Ford dealers.... smh

Cup2s on the street will make you cringe if you hate the sound of rocks hitting the car lol... but once you get over that.. no big deal ;). Once I put in the rock blockers I noticed a substantial decrease in pebbles thrown from the front tires at the rear hips... now it's just underbody getting smacked with parking lot pebbles. Stay away from construction zones when possible etc.

As long as you don't plan to drive in the rain or cold (or commute with the car) they're fine.

With factory alignment I put +10k on a set... yes they were well worn - but not corded and plenty grippy when warmed up. After about 7-8k you have to change your shifting/braking/cornering habits when pushing, though.

But - given your stable - I would assume you're not planning to hit more than 5k/car/yr
Yes agree, however my point was that I wouldn't want to trust my 11k wheels to anyone unless absolutely necessary. I've heard the same about no guarantees.

As for the sound of rocks hitting the car, I laugh each time I hear that sound. I'm running soft r compounds for street use and have full expel. I would not drive an R without some kind of paint protection.

For the amount of miles I put on my R's it probably would make sense to just say to hell with it and run cup2s and not subject the wheels any more than necessary to a chance to mess them up.

When I go through my street tires, I will reassess.

You got 6700 miles AND 3 track days out of your SC2s? Mine were done with 1K street miles and 3 1/2 track days. I was on factory alignment so maybe that's why, but damn!

Hey, that's my car that dwalker posted lol... I changed the lugs to a longer lug nut up front so it doesn't look as mismatched now. I really like the wheels, they fit great and do save a little weight plus it's kinda nice to have something a little different from most other GT350s out there. I'll upload some more recent pics soon.

I was considering CF10's myself because they just work. But I decided they were a touch too similar to the factory wheels being 10 spoke.

Decided on CF5V's and just love them.
