Alright, this is my first mustang, besides the hood struts, what other upgrades or mods does every one recommend? This is going to be a toy, fun and spirited drives and maybe a few track days.

mine will be a car cover! our 68 is on rotisserie in the garage so this will be parked outside for now.
hoping to get the 68 as a roller by end of summer.

If its not too late consider Recaros - the cloth Recaros that you get w/ 301s are fantastic. Otherwise congrats. When you see your Green window sticker online you will have reason to celebrate.

See above - recaros if your'e going to drive with spirit, and forged wheels will really change the nature of the car (see pics). E85 tune if you're so inclined. And I'm OK with the much maligned hood-prop : it's simple and light weight and won't break.

Unfortunately the cloth recaros aren’t an option anymore. I would have gotten them

Glad I changed my order from oxford white to velocity blue. That blue is awesome. nothing against oxford white!

Originally mine was going to carbonized gray, then twister orange, but I saw the velocity blue thread on here and fell in love with that color

20" premium painted alum wheels/P265/35R20W rated tires
