And it's not an argument, do you see anywhere I have dumped on you? Or argued? I made points about what people say in regards to this turbo and second, I'm trying to understand what would be Benefeit of this turbo V's going aux fuel? That is all.
It all depends on your goals. FBO on E85 with the stock turbo would be a really fun street car. It would spool extremely quick but would still fall off up top. I plan on being tuned as high as my tuner will go. I'd like to push 450whp+ on the stock block. This turbo will make a lot more power than the stock turbo will and like you said it will push the power curve to the right. I prefer that personally as the car pulls all the way to redline. Your posts do come across as you busting balls. Maybe you're not, but that's how I perceived them. I have experience with the stock turbo and with the VS2. As of now I'm only on 93, so I'm not making a ton of power. I don't think this turbo is for everyone, especially manual vehicles. The benefits to this over stock is much more power, power curve moved to the right, stock appearance and it's cheaper than other options so far. There are always trade offs though, some people won't like the lag, others will be fine with it. My auxiliary fuel kit should be in hopefully by the end of the month and once I'm fully tuned on E85, I'll be able to give a better review, but I'm already satisfied with how it feels in comparison to the stock turbo on 93.

See! Perfect! Ty! Lol I am in a 6mt car, so this is good to know. I think keeping the stock setup and going e85 route my be my best next step, I mean I'm 100% satisfied now, and I have full bolt ons minus meth and the car is all I could ever ask for! If e85 will make that much of a difference, I can't even imagine what it will feel like. I also think I'm going to focus on weight, trying to setup every mod with that in mind, I have already done rears eat delete, light weight springs. Then I'm thinking lightweight pulleys, steeda motor mounts. There's also a couple of heavy parts that are bolted on the stock exhaust area I think that help with nvh, but a lot of guys are removing them with no issues and they weight like 20lbs,also I already deleted my resonator so that's huge! If I can shed between 150-200lbs overall, I think that would be awesome!!

I know I noticed a huge difference going from 93 to E30 on the stock turbo. So I can only imagine that it'll be that much more of a difference going to straight E85. I can't speak from experience since my car is an auto, but I can only assume the lag would be much worse in a manual. It sounds like to me your best bang for your buck would be FBO with auxiliary fueling on the stock turbo. If you were local I'd give you a ride to show you that the lag on this turbo is over hyped, at least on an auto.

Stock turbo can't flow enough air for 400 WHP, at above 375 it is so far out of it's efficiency band it's just pumping out lots of heat. Since ethanol requires a richer afr and has excellent cooling and anti det properties you might get close to 400 with aux fuel but I doubt you will reach it. I'd bet the VS2 would be damn near 600 on E85, a ported head, aux fuel, and built block.

If someone can get to 380rwhp on e30 and meth, I guarantee 400 is no problem at all.

I have the VS2 and I will say, it's not a turbo for what I do with the car. Biggest down fall is my MT. Like I said before automatic guys sure.

Maybe I'm not the typical "big turbo" buyer. I won't track my car, won't autocross, etc. I only drive it to enjoy the drive, and I want a car that is fun to cruise in and has some sack when I want it. My initial thoughts on this turbo is that, while there is a little lost on the bottom end, it's not that bad, and the trade off is a car that pulls and pulls up top. And, I'm not even tuned for it yet. I'm in the middle of datalogging so doing some 3rd gear pulls and the difference up top is already night and day over the stock. I also feel that it is actually a smoother car down low and almost makes the stock feel too torquey in first and second. In traffic, it is so much easier to drive.
Now I'm dealing with the abacas of tuners (SCT X4) for my tuning and it has been a struggle to deal with it's software shortcomings, with respect to end user ease of use.
I feel that I am going to be more than happy with this set up. If only I could get my hands on E30 though....

it's not the initial lag, I'd prefer it being faster, but it is live able. The transient response during shifting is what kills it for me. I don't like having to really beat on my car to keep it from completely dropping out of boost between gears.
For all you auto cars, this turbo is going to be be way faster than the stocker.

Not sure how it would preform on an auto-cross, I'd guess shitty. HPDE It might/probably be fine. It does drive nice, and it does pull hard from 4,000 rpms.

Sorry, I'm 6MT
Too bad we can't tune for holding revs during shifts. Yes I do agree that you have to be more aware of shifting to extract the full potential of the turbo.
