I just drag the 'ol ladies Dyson out with me...

Just being a friendly kind of guy, if that happens to be the wife in your avatar picture, I would be more than happy to drive to Virginia and vacuum your car for ya. :D

Any small hand vac will be fine.

I use the Rigid Sto N Go (wall mount). Beats the hell out of my old 4HP ShopVac. Hose is quite long so I can just leave the vacuum unit on the wall and actually hear myself think when I'm vacuuming out the cars. Comes with some good attachments for auto vacuuming.

This was the other one I was considering while i was shopping, I really like the idea of having on/off controls on the wand (probably a simple RF switch). Ended up with the Rigid because comparisons said the suction was a bit better and it's a more established brand.

I park in the yard mostly at home, so when I enter the car I get some grass clipping in there with the usual dirt. I noticed trying to vacuum up the clippings didnt go well so i grabbed a damp hand towel and wiped around on the mats and carpet. I was surprised to see that to be more effective for me than vacuum. And its not enough wetness to cause mildew...

I'm lucky that we have a central vac and it is in the garage. That thing sucks....but in the good way. (insert joke here).
