Waiting for OF

My father and I went outside to take the plastic off (to make sure everything was okay before I bought the car) and my dad noticed a scratch on the center console near the back. It was as if someone from the factory had their keys on a carabiner clip and the key dug into the soft leather of the center console. My salesman showed the new car manager they then took pictures of the scratch and sent them to Ford.
Well, Ford is going to replace the whole piece. It was not my mom because when we test drove it we still had all the plastic on it. I give Ford huge props for taking full responsibility over it. And hopefully, they talked to the people in the factory to take their keys off their person (if they are hanging off) before they get into a brand new car.
Now just to wait till the new part comes in and they can put it on and everything will be as good as new.
