I think i will be selling mine soon if the 18 pricing is within my budget.I have to be realistic so it will probably be below 30k.I can sell unused parts to get some money back hopefully.

To be honest, In a current market full of financing cars, used market will dry up, because there's fewer buyers with 30-40k >CASH< to spend on a car, that being said, I know a few FB friends sold well modded (looks and performance ones) very quickly... Including a few forum members here have had that kind of attraction (Gibbos and elnrgt).

You'll see a lot more companies taking the car and forecourting it (Phils doing this with his I believe - the grey and sparkly wrapped one), and then once the company sells it, either on finance or not, he gets the price they agreed on for it. Which allows for greater publicity and selling power of a company offering finance etc.

That being said, really, these cars should be shifting with a 6-8week wait on them. Fwiw I waited 4 weeks for my first and only call on my CORSA for 5250, sold it for 5k before I got the 'stang. One caller was all it took especially for a very very clean car that ran well, which it did. :)

This was a new concept to me, the "sale or return" I mentioned in my earlier post. Interestingly, the first company to approach me insisted I would get my advertised price, with them taking anything over that. A different company would take a % of the final sale.

A good idea I think if you have the luxury of time on your hands - I didn't so there was no way I was sending my car off to possibly be sold!

Heard a couple of horror stories about these sorts of arrangements, just make sure you go with someone established and reputable

Doesn't surprise me...the ones I spoke to gave me the impression that they will say anything to get your car in their showroom, in my case "we have people coming in that want Mustangs", but wouldn't discuss any specifics, was more of a convincing line for them to come & collect my car. No thanks

I sold my 16 plate in comp orange with 7k miles for ÂŁ31,250 to a trader about 2 weeks back.

It had the ford lowering springs and roush back boxes, was a fully optioned car with black wheels and a black roof.

Took the view that I had enjoyed 18 months use and holding out for more with a new model on the horizon was risky, especially with the likelyhood Ford may to something to clear out the 300 car inventory (discounts, interest free etc).

How many miles? What packages? Sounds over priced but don't know that info. What's kbb say it's worth?

I bet it's priced too high. I can get a new gt premium for 33
Your in the UK section ;)

Do you know the traders name? I’d probably accept that right now

yes it went to Meridien Modena, they are the Ferrari main agents in Lyndhurst, but my mustang went to their Poole Dealership.

Suggest drop your price to 31,250 and yours may sell also.
