I think any of you southerners and west coasters are more the target audience for a Track pack.
Eh...it's a little toasty where I'm at right now and it's no where near the west coast or the desert lol.

From what I've been told the base GT350 and with the Tech Pack is fine for HPDE events. If you want to race your GT350 competitively buy a Track Pack or R.

Thank you all. Everyone here is very helpful. On the topic of cooling, does anyone here know or have an opinion if it would be necessary as a small and cheap addition to go ahead and upgrade the cooling fans? I know this is usually a quick and efficient mod that I have seen around tracks for older mustangs. This and a more efficient radiator too.
Don't waste your time and money fixing a problem that doesn't exist. Watch your gauges and worry about that if you see elevated temps.

I thought about getting the Tech Pck and adding the coolers later but when I realized the seats were power & heated and cooled and not Recaros,it became a very easy decision to get the track package. After tracking numerous cars over the years that had issues with high engine oil temps, transmission oil being too hot and coming out the vents and burnt diffs. An 8000 rpm engine will create a lot of transmission heat especially in the lower gears. You can never have too much cooling especially where there are thermostats inline in the system.

We''l know more about how easy or difficult adding the cooler will be when the first cars hit the road. Until then we're all simply guessing.

Or we can simply buy both the Tech and the Track models.

According to my info it is either Track or Tech but not both together.

Hopefully during Ford's GT350 media week next week they will break down the difference in more detail between the two packs and the cars performance.
