Updates Here, There Everywhere

This site. Looks totally different. Good too.

Then I left my phone's hot spot on, and it updated SYNC3. I got into my car to go to a client's home, and I had a completely new screen, controls, and the WAZE and Android Auto weren't working. Just what I needed, pressed for time to get to their home at the appointment time.

Took some time to reset Android Auto to get it working, but I did.

I was hoping that the damn steering wheel controls would work when playing the music on my phone while also using Android Auto/WAZE, but still no. If I'm running Android Auto/WAZE, the forward and backward buttons on the steering wheel (to go the the next or previous song), don't work. The buttons work just fine when Bluetoothing the music on my phone, but if I plug the phone into the car and Android Auto turns on, they don't work.

So....lots of updates today.

Anyone know if there is an Android Auto setting I don't know about? One that will allow me to use the forward/backward controls on the steering wheel for my music when the phone is plugged into the car?

Did yes do a master reset. Seems to solve a number of issues. Good luck!

I meant on Sync 3. Once you do that you will need to pair your phone again.

If I do a master reset, do I then have to down-load the updates again?

And is there a master reset option button in the menus?

Yea i use Amazon music, Google play with my phones library and never have an issue skipping or going back with songs
