Update on Build and Price

The Adaptive Cruise is listed as an Interior Option, and is after the Exterior. If I switch it and then go back, no change :( Would not take that as an indication that it is not related, I think from previous discussions we know that it is, but it is not reflected in the Build and Price.

Thinking about this, I think Ford is missing a major opportunity. This community would be a great Beta pool to find these things and make the site much more robust! :ford:

Ok thanks for checking. Several of us made pre orders without ACC for fear of loosing the lower grill fangs... Figured I'd ask.

I agree that it would change the appearance, but I also see it as an non-needed feature. I have never used cruise in an are where it was an issue, and actually like to watch the road ahead of me!

They probably aren't using a session cache or have it set to "infinite" so that it remembers where you are in your build when you come back. I'm pretty sure that the B&P for the 2014 does that already, so just a continuation. With your cached copy, you're still hooking into their DB which is where the real details are.

This pic has me curious. What the heck color are these seats? It's not any that I think I see in the order guide at all. However, if the text is correct, then P8B doesn't change the dash from brushed to turned.

That pic did not appear directly in the Build and Price window it was in the pop-up when you click on "Details" next to "Premium Leather". When you select it the main build and price window still shows black...

Dont you get an ovreview of the car at the end (pricing / financing screen)? Would the grill change be reflected there, possibly?

Also - I find it odd that the site only lists toggles for PP. I thought they were part of the premium models (eco and GT) and not tied to an individual package.

Tried that too, shows only the stock view of the lower intake.

The toggles are there for everything premium except for the 50th anniversary appearance package, which I think is purely a mistake. The gauges in the dash seem to be there at the right packages however.

A lot of that still looks kludged together (like the cashmere door inserts), but it does make it much more likely the machined turn dash finish is a PP item.

Sure they can, no web server keeps all connections open at all time to all visitors... that would be one hell of a webserver

I'm guessing that the original pages have some dynamic calls to a background database server - and when they blocked it they only blocked access to the basic html site. Sloppy, but worked for 99.9% of us...

When is the new Edge being released..?

'04 was the last year if the new edge. I don't think they're coming back :( lol.

Actually they have a new Edge coming out in 2015. '04 was not the last year.
