I cant wait, Ive got your FMIC and intake on my Abarth and can speak first hand about what a difference it has made.
Good to see you making stuff for the EB mustang as well.

Thanks for the compliments, we are going to make some crazy stuff for these cars:headbang:

Really looking forward to the intercooler and the twincharger system. Just to be clear you are talking about using two turbos in a sequential setup (one being the stock unit) right?

Yes the stock and a larger turbo are mechanically linked and work together in a compound boost scenario. doing things this way makes the car "feel" like it has a much larger displacement engine. we should have prototyping of the intercooler done this week... In addition If the rain here lets up today we will test the efficiencies/deficiencies of the factory intake system...

Thanks for the response, really excited to see it. Maybe I missed it but do you have a tuning device preference yet?

We currently are running Cobb on the car And will continue to do so UNLESS they don't release the Tuning software before we are ready to Twincharge the car... We also did some preliminary factory intake testing yesterday and color me impressed, the factory did a great job on this car at current tuned power levels. We will post some of the data we found on this subject, but I can preliminarily say that drilling out the dimples in the driver side grill(or going to an open grill) as it enters the airbox is a worthwhile and FREE modification, we will be expanding on the ram air testing by fully sealing the box off to incoming air in the future, as well as further testing on exactly where pressure drops take place in the system...

ATM do you have any AIT drop, pressure drop, HP increase, or core vol numbers?
Really excited to see how the stepped design turns out!
Thanks

We will be datalogging the cooler in about 2 weeks and will post everything...
- AIT temp drop vs stock in 3rd gear, 2-3-4 gear and 3rd gear back to back to back
- pressure drop vs stock in 3rd gear, 2-3-4 gear and 3rd gear back to back to back
- dyno data vs stock

We publish our datalogs in a datalogger graph and will readily supply the raw data. We do not post pretty photoshop/ms paint graphs. All of our logs are done same day same conditions on the exact same stretch of road with starting temps, coolant temps boost and starting AIT as close as possible run to comparative run. this done to show that there is no manipulation of our data and also done so end users can replicate our tests which we encourage...

Ambient face of the core is 20.5" x 12.1" =248" sq/in

Total core volume- 974" cu/in

Now that the intercooler is done, we have started to work on our Silicone Intake-Charge Pipe combo. We did pressure drop testing on the factory intake and went about improving the power robbing aspects of it. On the charge pipes we attempted to be as direct as possible while removing potential leak points, direction changes, diameter mismatches and sharp edges which impede flow and increase pressure drop. We decided to make the silicone intake and charge pipes as a complete kit as it allows us to reroute everything so it's as short and direct as possible relocating the intake on the passenger side of the car. These parts will be made of silicone to keep in the cold and keep out underhood heat(the pics of the stainless Mandrels show the internal flow area of the parts) the intake will feature a custom high flow cone filter that geometrically matches(male-female) and is designed to work with the CNC aluminum velocity stack to enhance airflow and lower pressure drop into the turbocharger. The charge pipes will include properly sized Murray TurboSeal Clamps which we use on all of our Intercooler kits. Also included will be a CNC BOV adaptor that will work with the factory valve/Turbosmart drop in and also work with any Turbosmart/TurboXS valve that has a 1.5" hose coupler...

Will the intake and charge piping work with stock location intercoolers, or just yours?

Our intercooler utilizes factory exact geometry for the charge pipes SO any factory geometry intercooler will work with the kit!

Bump for updates on charge hoses and passenger side intake?
