I will keep the SCT if unleashed/Torrie can correct my concern. Buying a new or used Cobb will cost me 400+ and pay Adam to tune it too. If I kept my SCT X4 I already have the programmer so I would have to pay for the tune only.
Or is a Cobb programmer that much more better to have then an X4? I'm sure Torrie can make this thing run as good if not better then the Cobb??
Just email him he is usually really good about resounding fast. If you have never data logged he can tell you what parameters he wants you to log. Good luck either way

Ok, so I was just about to order a Cobb cause I didn't know anyone else offered custom tuning for the SCT via data logging/email. I'm currently using an SCT x4 with a custom dyno tune but have noticed power has dropped. It was dyno'd at 24 psi of boost and now that has dropped to barely 20 psi but it has gotten colder now and apparently there is a winter tune? So maybe that is why my boost and power levels have dropped? Will a winter tune be needed to be added to my car then in winter so it has the same power in the summer and vise versa? I've been reading tons of pages on this thread and it seems like Torrie is the man regarding SCT.
So I guess another question I have for you is, what do I have to do for you to revise my tune for summer and winter? I see that most posts mention you stay around 22psi boost, I was running 24 psi before, is that not a good thing? Previous tuner here in Vegas was obviously monitoring everything so I'm assuming that was ok. By self admittance he doesn't tune ecoboost besides mine so I'm sure he probably doesn't know some of the parameters and tables these ecoboost have.
The ECU adjusts for air density as far as I know... Colder air in the winter gives you denser air, less need for boost to make the same power.

Just a shout out for Torrie tuning process. He is totally on his game. Quick email responses and once I do a data log he has a tune file response for me in less 30 minutes!!
I can feel the car after every revision get better and stronger! Just sayin. Any of you guys with sct's out there.. Here is your man to tune it!

I did a video review just over a year ago for Torrie... not my best production values, having come about so early in my channel's life, but still...

But, the main reason I'm posting is that my father recently did a review of Torrie's 93 Octane tune as well, and sent it to me to edit into a video review:

Warning, he's in his 60s so there's a bit of sloooow-to-the-point stuff going on, haha, but the man can still drive!

Just clicked the link and answered my own question, watched your videos when you had your ecoboost. Good review

Yeah, my dad still has one so its pretty cool that I can get EcoBoost and GT videos on one channel.
I don't blame ya for switching, you got a great deal.

I've been running the Unleashed tune for about 6 months now and love it. I have a Guard Premium with the Performance Package. It's great daily driving in Normal mode, but I have noticed that if you switch the drive mode to Sport mode the car seems much faster and more aggressive. Instant shifts when hitting the gas, holds shifts longer, and is even more fun to drive. Is this intended and ok to drive like this, or should it remain in Normal with this tune? The only issue I've noticed when in sport is when slowing down, coming to a stop, when the car shifts from second to first it jerks a bit.

I can change that for you, and you can use whatever mode you like.

Email me and I will make the DS adjustment.
