Torrie,
Turbo Ghost was nice enough to give me a ride in his EcoBoost after work last night.
We met up at a gas station, talked Mustang for a bit and drove a nice circuit including some highway driving.

Seriously, wow!

I ordered last night and can't wait for my tune to arrive!!!

Torrie,
Turbo Ghost mentioned that cooler spark plugs are recommended, but not required.
Just wondering if this is for performance increase or to keep the engine running smooth?

If I get new spark plugs after you set up the tune, does the tune need to be redone?

I stock all of it, its for safety and is good to go down a heat range when you increase cylinder pressure. Re-tune not required for plug change

I took the car out to check the function of the new Turbosmart goodies.
Still need to find tune them and do some logs for Torrie (heads up).

I decided to turn the timer on for giggles sake, and as such I did not launch the car or bother driving it aggressively out of the hole.

I left smoothly and was intent on watching the boost and AFR on the X4.

A solid launch with some boost and a little bit of traction and were in business!

This was also with 3/4 tank and 200lbs of passenger;) Unleashed!

I'll be ordering some plugs soon. Really surprised after the DP the power just spins the wheels. Looks like an I/C and new wheels soon. :)

That would one depend on the calibration in use. Two the system can freely add / subtract timing at any moment and also add / subtract fuel. So there is some margin within that. I have always used it on every ecoboost powertrain, and its one of the few that adds fuel to the equation.
Thanks Torrie. Good to know that you have used it extensively without issues. Do you use a conservative WM tune then, so that if there is a failure with the WM system, the ECU can prevent engine damage by subtracting timing and fuel? If the WM system had a failsafe, could you use a more aggressive tune? I'm still a ways away from getting WM; doing a lot of research now. If I decide to install my WM system differently than you installed yours, would you be able to remote tune my ECU via datalogging, or would it require a dyno session? If a dyno session is needed, would you be able to do that remotely through a shop in my area? Thanks again.

I can tune it remotely either on road or remote dyno.

Going to load the tune in the morning. What's the part number on the step cooler plugs?
