Thanks Torrie. Good to know that you have used it extensively without issues. Do you use a conservative WM tune then, so that if there is a failure with the WM system, the ECU can prevent engine damage by subtracting timing and fuel? If the WM system had a failsafe, could you use a more aggressive tune? I'm still a ways away from getting WM; doing a lot of research now. If I decide to install my WM system differently than you installed yours, would you be able to remote tune my ECU via datalogging, or would it require a dyno session? If a dyno session is needed, would you be able to do that remotely through a shop in my area? Thanks again.That would one depend on the calibration in use. Two the system can freely add / subtract timing at any moment and also add / subtract fuel. So there is some margin within that. I have always used it on every ecoboost powertrain, and its one of the few that adds fuel to the equation.
