I would like to know if anyone out there has Unleashed Tunes on their Gt? By the reviews, they have good reviews on the EcoBoost but really haven't seen anything on the V8. This is not a trashing on any tunning companies. Been looking at all other tunning company reviews. just wanting to get input. Thank.

I had an Unleashed tune on my Focus ST. Torrie McPhail is the brains behind the tuning and he is relentless when it comes to providing outstanding customer service. He’s very passionate and my ST ran awesome with his tune. He does other Ford vehicles as well, just don’t think he’s made his name yet on the 5.0 world due to the niches formed by the big names everyone associates with. He is super fast with revisions and answering questions. Like, he doesn’t sleep.

Torrie tuned my wife's Explorer Sport. Runs great, shifts very sporty and great customer service.

Yep, Torrie (Unleashed Tuning) tuned my '16 GT, and it wasn't even like the same car when I flashed it. Way more power, across the whole powerband, better torque off idle, and in a few months I'll have had his tune for 2 years without a single hiccup. In fact, I'm going to switch over to his E85 Flex Tune since I finally started getting E-fuel in my area.

I see you're semi-local too, not that you need to be, but it's kind of cool to know you could connect with your tuner FTF if needed.

So overall its noticeable compare to stock. Is throttle response better? As in the lagging when you goose it, lol.

He can set up the tip in however you want. I do not like the pedalmax feel (touchy throttle) so I had him make it stock feel.

My ST had a way different response than a GT would due to the fact it was a turbo 4 vs NA V8. For that car, yes, it made a huge difference in throttle response and how quickly the boost came on. It was a much more snappy response versus the linear and off/on habits of the stock tune. I didn’t have to go 3/4 to full throttle for the car to come alive after the tune.

That’s cool - good feedback because I have the SCT from when I sold my ST and could get another tune from Torrie for my GT very quickly... when the time comes.
