So I tuned my 2016 v6 mustang today. Got the tune 93 octane tune and the mods I have are a roush cai and flowmaster outlaw axle backs. The car feels like it has more torque and the shifting is nice too. I love the way it shifts when stomping on the pedal especially around when it goes from 40-50mph. Also has more wheel spin.

Now this is the weird part. The car jerks forward at times when letting off the gas. Anyone else notice that with the tune? Is that normal with the tune?

Maybe its shifting up? The rpms drop and you feel a surge forward. Happens without the tune on my stock car too.

It feels like that. For example you stomp on the gas and let off around 50mph and then reapply more pressure on the gas then it jerks forward like crazy. Never did that before when it was stock. Just wondering if everyone elses cars were doing that after the tune?

well its gonna jerk forward if your car is at a high rpm and you dont shift to a higher gear. and then if you slam on the gas again at the same gear youre gonna jerk backwards cause youre creating forward momentum with higher power

Car jerks forward though then goes back from momentum. Its not the getting pushed into the seat kind of feel. Also Im talking about a light tap on the gas when reapplying.

Car no longer jerks and is amazing now! Im guessing its because I still had a quarter tank of 87 octane gas when I filled it with 93 octane? Probably didn't didn't like the left over of 87 when I put the tune.

If you read the SCTx4 manual running low octane than the tuner program for can cause damage to the ECU it program for one octane and getting a nother searching for the program octane.
