Exactly! It's all about having options. I wouldn't be changing wheels on a busy carriageway either. But if you can get to a place of safety, why not.I do; but I'd call the RAC anyway unless I'm in a car park or similar.
It's a bit like Kapiteins go faster bits. Probably cost a few thousand, not much use if you're parked up at the side of the road though.
Where as spend a few hundred, just the once, and it gives you the option to go somewhere. There's some roads up here where you might be lucky to see another car in 5 hrs, let alone 5 mins. Would I rather have a go faster bit or a spare wheel. Hmmmmm. No offence meant Kapitein.
