UK Mustang Side Mirror

The colonies reporting in, I seem to be the only one in Australia with this issue so I thought I would check to see if the motherland has different mirrors.

My left mirror has four fins, where as my right mirror is complete flat and finless.

How very odd, both mine have 4 'flays/lines' on them, I think you may have been given an older wing mirror cap on your right side. Apparently the fins are to deflect wind around the cabin to reduce outside cabin noise. These are 'new' on all the 2016 produced cars.

I recall that when these first stated to appear, they were only on my one mirror. I would suspect that it's correct

I guess they had more of the "old style" in stock for one side, compared to the other...

Picture the scene in the component ordering department:
"we think we will make 2,000 RHD Mustangs in 2015 & 2016, so let's order 2,000 RHS mirror covers and 1,800 LHS mirror covers - that'll keep us going fine...."

I'm sure I would have noticed them on mine as the sides are rather noticeable when you glance at them.

Mines a 2016 but sure I haven't got them.
