Still no updates from my dealer, anyone else?

I am not really expecting anything more just yet. Car is ordered, build date 4th August, ETA October (dealer says more likely November). Not really expecting any more until some sort of confirmation that cars are on route.

Did the dealer give you a confirmed build date? I didn't get that (but as you probably know, Stuart is off at the moment)

Last I heard was November delivery as well.

I went to think Ford in Guildford today and they had a white US spec GT. They mentioned that they had someone order a car in the morning. I asked when they were expecting cars to arrive for those who order now and the mentioned March next year. It seems a bit optimistic to me.

I also had my dad with me whose first questions were how big is the engine and how much fuel does it drink, and even he was suitably impressed with the car.

That does feel a bit optimistic when my car was Ordered May 28th this year and has an EDD of April 2016.

Saw my salesman today as he is leaving, so I had to tie up with another one to deal with my order.Saw my screen details nothing changed, still saying october delivery.Be interesting to see what happens over the next couple of weeks.

Well mine was ordered 21st July and my EDD is Q1 2016, maybe it depends how many Mustangs are on order at the particular Ford Store.

Did you deal with chris at trust ford then for your order?

Mine was ordered early May and my last update was February/March 2016.

Also had an email recently from ford confirming I'm on the list.

Maybe they extended the cutoff date for the 1st production run & those deliveries could span Oct to Feb maybe? Just speculating.

I ordered from Think Ford back in Jan. Delivery is supposedly October, according to them but they also told me, when I went to see the US GT, that the UK allocation is NOT sold out yet.

I wanted to ring them about what tyres will be fitted to the car and could I get them changed to a tyre that I want.

Then I thought "I can't be bothered"

Everyone dealing with the Mustang over here really is a waste of space.

One day, hopefully, I will get the car and then I'll get a specialist to deal with it.

Mine is ordered through my local Ford dealer in Omagh who are working with the Ford Store in Londonderry. I had been talking to Chris in Lisburn but he had told me it would be this time next year before I would get delivery. My mustang is going to be exactly the same as yours except mine is the V8.

Jealous lol I couldn't justify the v8 as a daily. Had to be sensible ffs

I don't have to travel far for work so the crap mpg isn't too big of a problem for me, I was used to it with the evo 8 :lol: How long did it take for you to get an email back from Ford confirming that you were on the list? Haven't got mine yet.
