Ha!If the weather hadn't been so diabolical there would indeed have been some pictures. Unfortunately it'll probably be the weekend before I get the chance to take any.QUOTE]
Not acceptable.
Pics expected tomorrow or there will be hell to play! What, you cant take pictures in the rain?.... if you really can't wait go to the 'Pure Detail' website homepage. There's a link on there to some photos on Facebook. Jonny (at Pure Detail) did a great job on the car, gave it the full GTechniq new car treatment. Looked fantastic right up until the point where I had to pick it up in the pi:censored:ing rain!

Where abouts in UK are you and what spec/colour did you order m8?Same email for me from Karen. Mine was built October I think, so long ago now, and had some sort of "technical hold", either that or they lost it . Still it's nice to have it on its way.
Ha! Lucky you Gibbo. Mine was the same build date. Sadly no news from Karen for me :(Karen surprised me this evening, an email at 19:40 confirming my car was loaded onto the Galvaston Highway this Saturday in Baltimore and is now on its voyage to Zebrugee. Way ahead of schedule. My car was built and finished November 18th, so its sat a few weeks waiting for gate release.

They must have heard you still had a load of post-production work to do on the car![]()
Oddly enough my friend spotted it and sent it over to me, captioned 'How jealous are you?' if it was me i'd be smashing the window to drive it off that flatbed!I'm everywhere
Nice spot on the Ecoboost!![]()
Galveston Highway left Charleston on schedule yesterday and should be in Zeebrugge Christmas Eve so, unfortunately, cannot see much happening with our cars until w/c 4th January.Karen surprised me this evening, an email at 19:40 confirming my car was loaded onto the Galvaston Highway this Saturday in Baltimore and is now on its voyage to Zebrugee. Karen informs me it will take approximately 2 weeks to get to Zebrugee at which point it clears custom checks etc. which is an unknown turn-around time, essentially 1-6 weeks. It then takes 24hr to sale to Southhampton at which point it then travels by transporter to Bristol Street Ford dealership in Stoke.
Based on this best case my car will be with me first week of January, way ahead of schedule or worse case early-mid February.
If it arrives in January I shall take it and not worry about getting the car on a 16 plate, if it arrives in February I shall try to hold out until March to have it on a 16 plate.
Seems Ford are speeding things along a little.
Plus more good news Levittown informed me my GT350 wheel has shipped today and the original price of $199 has being honored.![]()

Sounds good mate, lets see the pictures in stages so we cna see the progression!Well I was not expecting until mid February and was going to postpone collection until March to get car on a 16 plate.
So ahead of schedule Karen has informed me to expect to take delivery 2nd/3rd week of January, so will have it on a 65 plate as no way I can wait until March knowing its at the dealership.
I shall then immediately fit my shift knob, steering wheel, rear decklid, black pony badge etc., and drive for a week making sure nothing sets fire. At which point I shall fit the Corsa Sport catback and handling modification one by one myself to see what effect they have on the car.
I shall also get it detailed and my side decals fitted within first month of ownership, also want to get the ODB kill switch fitted as well.
