UK Mustang delivery

Its incredibly tight fitting it into the garage, even with the wing mirrors folded they still stick out too much and I'd say the clearance is just a few cm each side, getting it out was even harder and although it might get easier with more practice the chance of a scrape is also more likely.

Not a UCL winner, deposit paid on 22/1 and firmed up the order on 1/5.

Wow, black looks stunning. Saddles nice too. Still can't figure the ford delivery strategy considering I paid my deposit 3 weeks before you and mine not in till Jan 2016! I'm not bitter......honest :rant:

Not sure I'm allowed to post but I don't think she is watching me...

I didn't want any random 65 plate but I didn't want to pay too much so I played with combining a reference to the North American P-51 Mustang fighter aircraft from WW2 which is rumoured to be the namesake for the Ford Mustang https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_P-51_Mustang. I tried combining with my initials and the cost of the plate was £450.00 so I tried MUS and the price was only £250.00. Bargain.

I managed to pickup GH65 USA for £399. Initials at the beginning , just waiting on v750

We were at the dealer this morning picking ours up, they had 10 customer cars waiting to be collected but we were the first, they've also sold more Mustangs than any other dealer!

Is this the first OTT stripe seen in the UK?

Yup. Site was under maintenance until 08:30 precisely (well, maybe a minute or so after). Managed to get the plate and pay for it. Confirmation email in so all good Just had a look at some alternatives I was also considering - all gone! Busy (and profitable) day for the DVLA today

Not quite - and you're a letter short I'm stiggy here because 'Stig' (my original nickname from PistonHeads - it predates Top Gear by the way!) was already taken. You're right in thinking it starts with ST16 though ;)

As soon as I got in and the internet decided to load the page, my number plate was gone. I used one of those number plate reservation sites so hopefully their software got the plate for me, just waiting on a reply from them.
