Spoke to my dealer yesterday and I also have the revised ETA to dealer of Aug 13th now. As much as it pains me the dealer may as well keep it until Sep 1st now for the 66 plate

Just heard from my dealer finally... There is a problem with the little Coin tray next to the steering wheel and it needs replacing apparently. But apart from that no other issues.

To be fair, to embarrass him - [MENTION=14295]Kristian87[/MENTION] couldn't open his for months, turned up at the meet and opened it for him first try! It's got an odd way of opening (Push in the middle and pull from the sides after. First few times opening it, it's a bit sticky, ater that it's perfecto.

Haha yes I did have this, every now and then I would try to open it by pushing it in but it just seemed to stay. Needed the Manders magic touch :lol:

I would say that it needed a bit more of a persuasive tap to make it work in the first place, works perfectly fine now though. I doubt it needs replacing!

hasn't got the email update telling her that the car will be booked on a ship yet. It'll be coming, just wait, don't panic, if she hasn't emailed you by like 3pm tomorrow... then maybe you can panic.

Interesting update from Staecy this afternoon, plus a little more insight into the process:

" We receive a list of all the vehicles that may be on that vessel on a Friday and then a confirmed list of all vehicles with did travel on the Autostar on Monday.

It surly looks as though your vehicle will be traveling on the Autostar this weekend but please confirm with us on Monday."

" We receive a list of all the vehicles that may be on that vessel on a Friday and then a confirmed list of all vehicles with did travel on the Autostar on Monday.

It surly looks as though your vehicle will be traveling on the Autostar this weekend but please confirm with us on Monday."

Completley logical as they don't work Sat/Sun.

I worked the process out as I'd been emailed telling me I'd be on the ship. And then used a live tracked to follow the ship in. Told my dealer on the Saturday it was in. Karen confirmed on Monday it was there (as I assume she was then back in office), I then called my dealer again asking to proriotise, she called me about 20 minutes later to tell me that she'd been tryng and couldn't get through, then 3 hours later to say she got through and it'd been prioritised.

I'm not entirley sure who they contact to have the car prioritised. It could be Karen and Stacey's team, it could be a team in Southampton, your dealer should know who to contact. It's something I never found out, but my guess is a 'ford scheduling team'.

WWL website states my car was discharged at 09:39 this morning (Belgian time)
I'm hoping there's nothing stating the car is going to a Welshman or the locals will probably torch it after last night

Us Tarago folks will have to take a rota to email ford on a daily basis for updates...

I've been thinking of getting a Mustang very similar to yours with similar mods. I have had a few questions however.

a) What MPG do you get City/Highway with the Ecoboost?
b) How does the Magnaflow exhaust sound? Any chance for a video?

I too have an Ecoboost

Mpg city 30/31 (UK gallon = 8 pints)

" Highway 35/38 (UK Gallon = 8 pints)

The sound - Its a subjective question,

I too have a Magnaflow catback race exhaust fitted, I am really pleased with it, love the volume/roar etc

It will never be a V8 but its more than enough for me,
wakes the family up on a cold start though.

There are a few videos on the site I am sure Manders will be around soon
to point you in the right direction and give you his in depth thoughts.
