I'll contact mine tomorrow and see what he says. Not expecting miracles - all I've had from them so far is radio silence, then a delivery to dealer date of 19th June when I chased them. :headbonk::headbonk:

So we're on the same ship but have a 5 day difference on the dealers delivery dates. Okay, think I'll ignore these. Seem a bit of a stab in the dark.

I'll start harassing people on the 6th :frusty:

Ask your dealer. Be interesting to see what date is on their system.

Bloody annoying (I know guys, plenty of others with worse problems etc etc). Borrowing my daughters car meantime (sold the Jag yesterday.... Phew, relief) which I don't like doing as we only just got it for her first car while she learns. Since I've been using it, I've shelled out for a new tyre cause of a puncture & now the exhaust has gone it smells like someone is dead in it. This should be money for the Mustang!

Daughters happy though..... she's slowly getting a new car for free :doh:

Email from dealer today saying delivery has gone back a week ! He said he'll chase it up.
What happens when it gets to Southamton other than sits there ?

Well, the people who 'controll' (randomly select mustangs to go to dealers) aren't in on weekends for one... so visiting hours are like daylight hours on weekdays lmao.

Just, as I always say, ask your dealer to prioritise it, tell them you need the car asap, it'll 'magically' be bumped up the queue...

Face it, you need it to cure your Mustang Addiction before you gold turkey ;)!

I did exactly that and I'm picking up tomorrow at 11am Only arrived in Southampton on Sunday and was up with the dealer on wednesday afternoon. Pics to follow once she's all detailed this weekend.

at last spoke to dealer gt arrives Southampton on sunday and still eta 18th of june......and been told a load of bollocks in why it takes so long for the car to arrive at dealership......ps they have now 11 mustangs coming of the autostar on sunday

My ETA on etis was W/E 21st of May, I'm picking it up on that date. Tomorrow!!!

Right. Been in contact with my dealer to day, updating him on where & what my car is doing.
He replied immediately (good dealer) & said he'd contact Gowrings who, to be fair, answered him back too.
So, my car should be in Southampton on the 6th June & Gowings said that delivery is out of their hands as Ford deliver to them. System says 24th June.

Mine is on the Fedora as well. My dealer rang me Monday to confirm that it would arrive with them on June 25th. I figured that it might be around this time, as it has to come up north.

I think when you first mentioned that date (a few months ago) I said it was likely quite optimistic - so fair play to Ford, theyve done what they said they would!

Despite the wait in Southampton, its seems they are making up time in Zeebrugge and turning things around quicker.

Credit where credit is due, for once!
