So I had a few small fuel leaks. I removed the whipple head unit to get to the rear fuel lines, fixed all fuel leaks, put the head unit on wired Lund boost+ controller, wired my coolant pump, tried to start the car. No trouble codes cranks just fine but doesn't fire. The gauge on my Fore regulator shows about 40 to 50psi and goes down slowly after.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on what you would check? I'm finally nearly ready to drive after swapping motor to built motor, installing whipple and 6060 trans. Just have this little no start issue.

Baby steps would be much appreciated. Really want to get my car fired up again.

Thanks a bunch!

wish me luck!!! after reading I think my engine may have just been flooded with fuel. Going to try holding accelerator to floor while starting in couple hours when I get home see what happens. I really hope fires right up!

make sure they are not fouled. also with the plugs out its way easier to clear any fuel from the cylinders cranking it over.

Plugs are brand new brisk. This is brand new engine build.

Sorry to sound dumb learning as I go lol! But what do you mean by easier to clear fuel from cylinders? You suggest pull all plugs dry off if necessary turn over reinstall plugs then crank again?

How do I check to ensure the plugs are getting spark? It sounds like its turning over good. Just didn't fire off.

You can do the screw driver in the plug wire test. You will need someone to help you out. That will show you if each are getting spark.

Did you get it to fire
I found several plugs wet. Dried them off, turned over engine a few times letting it dry out a little. In a few will go out put plugs in and cross my fingers

Best of luck. Sounds like you figured out the problem. FYI you can foul a brand new plug

Dude I wish I had your positivity. I built my Harley, first engine work ever, too, and aged 10 years after the first start where only the rear cylinder would fire. Turns out, when I relocated the ignition coil, requiring me to extend 4 wires, I made the dumb mistake of not cutting the wires at the plug far enough away where I could just solder extensions and instead removed the pins figuring I'd create new pins (to avoid having soldered wires visible). Well, of course I didn't write down which color wire went where figuring the shop manual was correct. Turns out the shop manual had two wires switched. I had to go to a freakin' Harley dealership and sneak a look at the same model bike to find this out. Once I switched the wires, the beast roared to life and I did the proper heat cycle procedure at 2AM, which earned me a noise violation and fine from my HOA... oops.
