How long was it before your cars reached Southampton? My car arrived in Zeebrugge on 21st Aug on the Figaro and I'm trying to guess when I might take delivery of it.

estimated 2 weeks in Zeebrugge; can be longer and shorter depending on if you make the ship on Saturday morning (Booking confirmation usually hits between weds-fri for this)

Hi,

Bit of a hiccup, when I visited the dealer this morning.

Spec wasn't as expected :(

Luckily they had another car available, so have changed colour from Race Red to Ruby Red.

Pickup date probably moving back a few days

The stupid pricks! They got mine wrong as well but I had a two months delay and still waiting. I'm biased but I prefer Ruby anyway, in fact mine should look exactly like yours in auto.
It just goes to show that we all should be confirming our orders based on what's on VISTA rather than our paperwork.
Your car looks great though, I should get mine within the fortnight :coolphotos:

Let's say there was some confusion over whether the car should have had the custom pack or the separate options. I don't like black wheels so we agreed to swap over to the ruby red car.

Means a few changes to the plans to mods as I don't think white OTT stripes will work with Ruby and extra red interior bits and bobs will likely not happen

Is it just the wheels that were different with 'your order' and the RR? as they could have just swapped the wheels over... Unless obviously the other one was missing all the other specs etc...

They're incompetent pricks by the sounds of it. At least they offered the swap. Hopefully at no extra cost to you (as Ruby has a higher cost than race)

WE eventually agreed that their would be not extra cost for the ruby red paint.

I ordered the car over the phone a couple of days after the test drive, but I didn't get a copy of the order form. Didn't worry about that too much as delivery way months away. When I saw the car was confused (to say the least) by the colour of the wheels. Iniitial conversations with the dealer assumed that I had changed my mind about the wheels once the car had arrived.

After the usual in and out of the sales managers office, including offering to sell me a new set of wheels (for 1200) or offering a discount of 750 off the ruby car, as the price had increased on September 1.

No signed order was found and 'call logging' consulted the ruby car was available for the original price with no charge for the ruby paint.

Will be picking it up tomorrow at noon!!!!
