I had 37psi when she left the dealership, and I think it is way too high. If you look at the manual (Which is actually on the sticker at the driver side door) it says 32psi.
Tyre pressure recommendations are for cold tyres, which is a tyre that has been stationary for at least 3 hrs. If you put 32 psi into a cold tyre then it will heat up to about 36 psi after about 10 minutes of driving. My dealership puts 38 psi in my cold tyres and I think that is too high as they get to 42 psi after I drive it. High inflated tyres might give better rolling and fuel efficiency, but may give less traction and increased wear in the tyre centre. Unless convinced otherwise, I will stick with the recommended pressure and observe the wear.
