Two Step for Turbocharged Setups

The manual cars have a launch control that allows the driver to launch at a given RPM that's preset by the driver. On other turbocharged vehicles I've owned, the launch control was part of a two step that allowed the car to launch (drag strip) with boost by bouncing off the rev limiter and retarding the timing. Can the tunes/ECMs on these cars integrate the launch control with retarded timing?

The factory launch control/2-step on the manual s550's is not a conventional 2-step. It is merely the computer limiting the throttle position to hold a specified rpm. Toss an MSD 2-step on it and it will cut spark to hold rpm. N/A, TURBO, SUPERCHARGED MSD box don't care.

Yep what Jay said,also if u use the launch control on the s550 traction control will still intervene even if advance trac is off.I installed a msd 2 step on procharged manual.

If i powershifted i would like to have one,but with the rxt going in i dont want to be scraping pieces of my mt82 off the track.Hope i can make it last intil i decide to do with the mt82.

Yes it would,but are u talking about just off the launch or inbetween shifts also?
