I bought the car with the kit, but I imagine around 13-15 grand to replicate the build depending on if you do the work yourself. The car made 640 hp and 585 tq on 8 psi

Would love to see your dyno sheet and what rpm it starts to spool and then full boost - also curious if you have an inside view video driving normal, part throttle - drive ability etc

Or feedback on how responsive it is!

please read below

Clean carfax, second owner

Recent update on car.

I will try to keep it short, but I want to answer as many questions as I can up front and be 100% transparent.

Since buying the car, it has burned oil through the exhaust that I believed to be an oil return issue. When doing a pull it definitely puts out a smoke screen. After searching all over the internet, this seems to be fairly common with Precision JB turbos.

I put the car in the shop to have everything looked over, including return lines, and have compression and leak down tests done, both of which checked out. There was a sag in the drivers side turbo return line that was removed. This seemed to help, but there was still smoke. Both turbos have typical up and down play, and zero axial play against the thrust bearings, they also sound very healthy under boost, no high pitch squeals or anything abnormal.

I reached out to Lund and Hellion, both of which recommended restrictors. Before restrictors, i was running -4 feeds to -12 returns, currently running an 040 restrictor. Again, it seemed to help, but the car still smokes. In an attempt to isolate the oil return issue, I had the shop put on an on3 scavenge pump. Unfortunately they only routed the drivers side turbo since the passenger side appeared to have plenty of gravity flow.

Again, all of these attempts seemed to help, but nothing has ever eliminated the smoke. When I bought the car, I had plans for a clutch, shifter, axles etc., however, I pumped the brakes due to the smoke and the car has sat since it is not my daily.

The story gets better....The car sat for about a month, I took it to work one day only to hear what I thought was a manifold leak, that I now believe is the notorious 5.0 tick/tapping from the bottom end, drivers side. Like before, I scoured the internet, and as a quick fix I tried adding ceratec to the oil, it certainly helped, but the noise is still audible.

There is no loss in oil pressure and the car still runs great (minus the smoke).

I hate to feel like I am throwing the towel in on this car, but simply put I do not have any time for it. Baby due any day now, and I am covered up with work.

By no means am I trying to pawn off a problem car onto somebody, but I know there has to be someone out there with time and/or resources to make this car the way it should be.

I will upload more photos and videos below.

I have idle/walk around videos that are too large to upload. If interested, I will try and set up a shared album.

First, thanks for the transparency. So, OK, it exhibits oil burning, BUT what is your oil consumption? With the low miles maybe you haven't driven it enough to really know?

You are right, I have not quite driven it enough to REALLY know, but I would estimate a qt/2000-3000 miles. I bought the car with approx. 4300 miles, oil was regularly topped off when it was at the shop on seperate occassions, adjusting lines, adding scavenge pump etc. I changed it around 6500 +/- for peace of mind and to have a fresh filter. Since then I have added 1 quart of oil to bring it to a safe level.
