Daryl is not dead. I read up on what the actor that played Negan said and the ending clearly tells us that he'll be fine. Carol continues to annoy me but much less than she used to. She took care of those guys like a total badass.

I like what has happened to Rick except for when he shot at the guy running away. There was no point and Morgan was right. PS I think Morgan is too passive some times.

I don't think Glenn is dying anytime soon because of his child but I could be wrong as the focus is shifting to Maggie now.

Crazy finale!! One of the best, most suspenseful episodes in a long time....the story line the last couple seasons has been turning me off and falling IMO...Hopefully, it starts to get interesting again.

Who do you guys think got the bat???

I felt like it was Carl, but I think someone dies and I just don't see Carl dying anytime soon.

I am actually kind of pissed about the finale. The whole episode was a bunch of nothing, kind of like 80 mins of filler leading up to the best 10 mins just to end with a cliffhanger.
My money is on Abraham getting the bat.

Not a fan of the finale. The whole season was a cliffhanger. Needed closure and time for the fans to talk about for 7 months in how will they go on versus bitch about it for 7 months. Big failure IMO

There FTFY ... This episode seemed like a ton of 2 minute show spurts filling time between commercials.

the ending will have the entire 1st ep of next season dedicated to who it was. it's gonna be bat shit crazy on the opening scene.

Nice to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan get the role of Negan. I liked him as The Comedian in the Watchmen. Cliff hangers suck! But it will generate buzz.

Carl or Rick will survive just by what Neegan said at the end. Would like to see Carl eventually kill Neegan though

Yeah cant base the show off the comic...... In the comic Neegan takes carl's eye and carl ends up killing him.... the Abraham thing was already mentioned as well.

WTf, Carl lost his eye in Alexandria in both, Negan in not dead in the comic.
other than those massive glaring faults you are right, you cannot base it on the comics.

In the comics Darryl and Sasha don't exist, Andrea and Sophia are alive , Carol and the baby died at the prison, I forget where Morgan died but he did,Abraham took the arrow in the skull, there were no Wolves and of course Rick still has his hand in the show.

It could have been Glenn but I think Maggie may have just screamed at Abraham getting his skull bashed in. A few reasons for my theory,
1) Where the camera was looking seemed like Abraham's position,
2) The Show is massively popular in South Korea due to Glenn. I think they know it would hurt ratings.
3) Not Daryl for ratings as well.
4) The show has a habit of killing off black characters sort of suddenly (Jacqui, T-Dog, Oscar, Tyreese and Bob) and I think they want to get away from that so I think Sasha and Michonne are safe.
5) We know it wasn't Rick, Carl or Maggie.
6) He took the first hit like a champ like Negan said, Which leads me to Abraham again.

On which points do you agree or disagree?

You can see Negan look to left and right so I don't think it's Glenn as he was the last person in line, who would Negan be looking at? He could be acknowledging his men, but it appears he's directing his instructions to the group.

Just because he gives the order to cut Glenn's eye out and feed it to Rick doesn't mean it's not Carl. He might be saying that because he thinks Rick will try to stop him. Plus all the last minute stuff between Carl and Rick while they were carrying Maggie.

Who knows? Still could be Glenn, they may have stuck to the comics with this one

I think it can be narrowed to the group captured in the previous episode. Rosita, Michonne, Glenn, and Daryl. The finale starts with a first person view of a group being held in a dark location, and ends in a first person view of Negan beating someone to death. Chances are its the same character from the begining scene and one of the captives. All except Rosita are major characters so its probably Glenn, Daryl, or Michonne.

I think it's Abraham because of your #1 and your #6. And the woman screaming I believe is Rosita. Maybe Sasha but I'm leaning more towards Rosita.
As for your comments on ratings, I think killing off Rick, Carl, Michonne, Glenn, Maggie, or Darryl would be bad for ratings. :frusty:

It would seem too cliche to make it Eugene, since he pretty much rendered himself useless when he provided the recipe for ammunition. My gut is that it was Abraham since he puffed his chest out when Negan stepped up to him, and also since whoever got the brunt of it 'took it like a champ' - and also since he and Sasha had a moment in the RV. Negan was perfectly casted btw and I was definitely looking forward to seeing his debut when they announced who was playing the character.
