Turn signal funky

On occasion my right turn signal makes an abnormal rhythm sound when in operation.
When I get out to check, only two indicators are flashing...the two end ones. Of course when I got it to the dealer it wouldn't produce the symptoms so he couldn't troubleshoot. Happened again, made an appointment but had to cancel it because it was back to normal. Why couldn't he, even if it was working, look for loose connections...or something? Any ideas what is the cause?

When it happens again try and record a video to show your service department.

I'm just hoping it's not a sign of an expensive impending failure as my warranty is almost done...
