I know I'm not the only one who faced the issue of part throttle-wide open valve, not closing when it should and some surging. Another issue as well was uneven air flow resulting in lunging (very light but noticeable)
I tried many things such as different lubricants and a full boost leak test with bubbles and nothing reall made much difference. Until today, I got some red wheel bearing grease from auto zone. I disassembled the BOV, cleaned thoroughly with WD-40 and a microfiber rag, and put a thin layer of grease on every moving piece and moved things around to get it smooth. When I put it back together BOOM! Far less surge, EVEN air flow and feel, and no more half open valve under part throttle. Car drives amazing now.
Use wheel bearing grease guys. Clean the paint off your spring or any dry residue and lubricate often.
