Hello guys, I have a 2015 manual ecoboost mustang, and I have a few questsions about a tuner. I have been doing my research on the forums, and know that Cobb tuning with an accesport seems to be a very reliable way to get more power, but while I was attending a car show last weekend I saw the rousch team advertising the JMS BoostMAX and PedalMax. I seemed a little skeptical with the reliability of the product as it just raises boost (I believe). They told me that it would not void the cars warranty. Being able to retain my warranty was something that really caught my attention with this product, but I'm not sure how safe it will be for the engine. If I was to go the hand held tuner route I would likely go with an accesport, but the only thing stopping me is that it voids the warranty. If for some reason I did have to take the car back to the dealership with a Cobb tune would I be able to reflash it to stock to keep my warranty? During my research of the JMS products, from my understanding, it just amps up the boost without changing any of the ecu components. This seems like to me to be harmful to the engine, but could someone with more knowledge than me help me out? If I go the Cobb route, will that be a safer way to make more power? I would likely go with a protune from Adam. The only thing keeping me from Cobb is the fact it voids your warranty. When you reflash back to the stock tune will it leave traces that the dealership could pick up on to void your tune? Hopefully you guys can enlighten me on all of this. I've been trying to gain knowledge from reading other posts, but haven't found any clear cut answer.
