Tuning Guru's - Idle Issue

I'm having a bizarre idle issue. It only happens when the engine is warmed up, cold starts are no issue. The car will fire up, but it idles at like 4-500 rpm for a few seconds before it comes up to a normal 800 ish. Sometimes I can give a little blip to the throttle and it will clean up. Other times when I try the blip, the engine dies and I have to re-fire. I'll reach out to the tuner, but those of you that know how the brains work know why it would do this? Car runs perfectly fine and hauls the mail, just this weird warm idle start up. 2020 Whipple Gen 5. Not running Whipple tune.

Your tuner has the car set to idle up instead of down because idle should be around 650. Maybe there’s a reason but normally it is to cover up for bad tuning.
